Mul-T-Lock won the tender to protect the Ostankino television and radio tower in Moscow, the world’s fourth largest tower and a tourist attraction.
Mul-T-Lock will install about 2,200 ClassicPro master keyed cylinders and locks in the tower and padlocks in 35 broadcasting stations. The deal amounts to about $250,000.
The tower rises to 1772 ft, covers an area of 160,000 sq ft, contains 120 floors and is the fourth largest in the world for television and radio broadcasting.
Sam Shterenshus, president and market region manager of the Mul-T-Lock Group, noted that this is the second luxury project in Russia that the company has won in recent months.
